I just finished 2 years in the court system and got to donate 35K to my X because she moved out of state. It's amazing to me how the system works. I will be flying my old gauges for awhile :( Just had to vent a little!! Thanks for listening Troy

I would never wish a divorce on anyone, even my X. But it wasn't until after a divorce took the filter off the checkbook, that I was actually able to take flying lessons.  Getting out of a bad situation will be financially beneficial in the long run. In the old marriage I just dreamed of flying, in the new marriage the two of us take weekend trips in our Mooney.

Why does divorce cost $100,000? Because its worth it! (as relayed by my older divorced brother)

At least you chose a beautiful sexy reliable strong airframe...Go push her knobs, tickle her pedals and play with her yokes. Take her for a dive and then wash her up afterword. It's all good.

Scott covered all the bases pretty well.

I'd only add, ride her hard too and put her away wet!!post-7035-0-66092500-1418250314.jpg

Hang in there Troy, I did not get my PPL till I was 50 and did not get married till after that my wife is the reason I bought my first airplane and got my license I hope and plan to make a long run of both flying and marriage hopefully since I waited so long it will be so.

Good luck and enjoy that 20 bravo.

You guys are funny!! I have been divorced for 6 years and she moved the kids to VA 2 years ago and I have to pay the difference in support based on time. Good news is, I am moving to Va in Jan and will have 50/50 custody. My flying time will decrease, but I only have about 5 more years before they fly away to college. :) Life is Good!! I own a Mooney!!! Troy
