I’m not flying in with the caravan as I couldn’t free up time to make a clinic this year.  Would I still be able to park amongst other Mooney “relatives”, and if so, am I better off arriving Saturday or Sunday (7/21 or 22)?

Steve

Correction...managed to sign up for the training in VA in 2 weeks, so will be signing up for the caravan.  Looking forward to the experience.

Bummer -  I don't quite make the requirements for caravan - I see they have an option for "group camping"  https://www.eaa.org/apps/airventure/north40/north40.aspx
maybe there are other folks here that may want to sign up?

Must have been new last year. I notice it’s limited to 15 aircraft. We had 50+ last year and will prob hit 60 this year, so doesn’t help us.

I will be at Oshkosh camping with the Pirates of North 40 in the group camping area and will be at the MooneySpace social!

I look forward to seeing everyone!

Bob when your bird coming home, I gotta see the end result

Yeah, me too Dan! Joe sprayed the final trim color Saturday. I have a MAG Caravan Clinic @ DAN I need to attend beginning noon Friday. So I hope to bring it home Thursday. Cutting it really close. I will be talking to Joe today and hope to fly down Wednesday night.

I think you can be sure that I will post a pic or 2 here.

@Danb, registration is closed with more newbies signed up than safety pilots the last I heard... but contact Goat, he might have cancellations.

Happy to say I'll be there! And may bring my grandpa as well, who was a long time mooney owner.

Also quick question, if anybody is shipping supplies/things to Airventure, can you send me a message? I have some things I need to ship and need a little help with where to safely ship it.

Checked the website? I recall a few years back seeing something on the AirVenture website about this and then using the info. Many campers have things they need to receive or send, the package delivery services have booths on the AirVenture grounds. I’m not sure about Camp Scholler.

Count me in + the wife!

Since we will be splitting time between EAA and family in Sheboygan, I plan on flying to KSBM, then driving to Oshkosh.  Can't fish for northern pike in San Carlos, Ca.

Well this sucks. I start my new job on Monday in Tom Sullivan’s hometown. How far of a drive is it? Probably not a good idea for me to attend the party as I probably should show up at work on Tuesday sharp and sober...

You can ship it to my house which is just off the North 40. I’ll PM the address.

I’ll be there from today through the duration.
