How long is your home runway

Just curious as to how long your runway is and what speed you carry across the fence.  Mine is 3000 ft and I cross at 70 to 75 kts.  Also my field elv. is 7 ft, so keep those Icecaps frozen.

I've moved from 3000' obstructed at both ends, 567 msl, to 3200' mostly open but far from level at 326 msl.

70-75 mph works well on short final. Landing on 31, if I'm on speed, hardly need brakes to make the turnoff to the hangar.

3,200' and I try to be at 75mph across the fence.

No worries about melting icecaps, but it does sit in a flood zone... Airport flooded 7 years ago when we got a ton of rain, that was before I was there.

5000 feet.  Landing 18, I usually make the first taxiway, which I would estimate to be approximately 2200 feet.  Usually off the ground at the 1000 foot marker.   Elevation is 786 msl.

I'm really not sure what my speed is over the fence.  90 kts on base to final.  80 well before the fence.   Touchdown with stall horn chirp.

3500 ft grass trees on each side power lines crossing near north departure end 150' between the lights, 0'MSL, 1000' ceiling to base of the Class B with a 2nm path to get in under the B.    keep building the levees higher

Mine is 7,000' x 100' with lots of open space at both ends. Sometimes I'll land, then change my mind and take off again, and then change my mind again and land. Just kidding, but I COULD.

LOL. Perhaps I should clarify that this photo was captured during the go-around on a practice instrument approach. I'm actually a "flaps down entering downwind" sorta guy.

3881 feet usable. 70 KIAS no flaps and 65 KIAS with full flaps when light. A few knots faster when on the heavy side. Comfortably make the third turn off to main ramp off of 26 which is about 1550 feet.

Oceano Airport L52 is 2315 feet.  I came across the fence at 70kts or less in the Ovation.

KPAO in a Mooney Eagle--- 2443 feet, power off the last 50 feet of altitude and 70-75 knots over the fence,  65-70 at flare full flaps depending on gross weight.  My trim is usually all the way up with one or two people sitting in the front.

The main runway, which I have never used, is 7200+5800' overrun. It's the old Kincheloe AFB that closed down a long time ago. I use the shorter 5000' one that is always directly into the wind. I park in a new hangar that sits on the alert pads at the bottom left corner of the photo - exactly where the F-106's parked back in the 60s to intercept those Russian bombers.

Livermore, the short runway (25L/7R) is 2,700ft and 400ft MSL. Approx ~70 KIAS over the fence. Turn off about half way down the runway (~1300ft) in a J.

KHYI has 6330, 5601, and 5214. Speed is anything below gear speed for the short body I'm landing next to. But we usually shoot for 90 knots/104 mph over the numbers.  If single ship, I might occasionally use flaps and come in nice and slow, but then it's a drive to the first taxi way.

KMTN is 7000'.  If you overrun 15 you go down an old seaplane ramp into the Middle River. Better than overrunning 33 where an Amtrak might run you down.

Typically if it's just me alone and say ~ half tanks, I shoot for 70-75mph on final and 70mph or less over the numbers. If I'm closer to gross, add another 8-10mph.  I use full flaps unless it's windy in which case I add speed as necessary.

Speed over the fence  between 62 and 72 KIAS depending on weight.  Usually around 65 - 67 KIAS for normal operations with two people.
