Bob, didn't I just read that Google is about to discontinue or end support or something for Chrome?

Haven't seen that. No big deal, I always have Firefox open on the other monitor. And Garmin updates are much easier using IE.  But Firefox has the same problem for me as to attaching pics to a post.

I'm on my iPad now (NOT running iOS 9!), and don't have problems attaching photos; my Samsung phone and PC with Winders 8 (the one we love to hate!) also don't have problems. I think my max attachment size is something like 58MB. But then again, I don't use Tapatalk . . . .

Bob -- I have the same issue with Safari on my Mac. Haven't tried cleaning out the cache and cookies like Craig suggested but find editing and posting pictures much easier using an iPad and Tapatalk. The only gripe I have with Tapatalk on this forum is the control characters that are visible who editing a prior text. Only see it on this site, none of the other forums I frequent.

I own AAPL but not their hardware. (I'm retired, living on SS.) I have an android phone and a wintel laptop running Windows10. My issue began with the new MSpace format but wonder if it could possibly be a W10 issue? I upgraded to 10 about the same time...

Most of my airplane picture archives are no longer on the phone. I'll try clearing cache/cookies.

Cleared cache and cookies. Did not fix. I just tried to attach a 154k pic. Pop up message is that I'm only allowed 212k so it doesn't even like a pic that's smaller than the limit!

Okay! I found out what's going on. I clicked on "My Attachments" and discovered that I have attached 509 attachments to forum posts totaling 73MB of the 73.2MB allowable.

Marauder, can you check your attachments? It's a drop down menu beside your identity at the top right corner of the page. I suppose you've attached more and bigger (girls) than I have!

I guess I can delete old attachments...

I agree.  Not sure what they changed, but definitely different on my iPad- and definitely not for the better.

I suspect there's some experimentation going on. I was just weighing in on the latest iteration.

Mines as ugly today as yesterday, the whole "Mooneyspace" banner is missing, and only the tops of the Bell and Mail icons are visible; when there's a notification, less then half of the red circle shows up.

and whatever screenshot was attached above is simply several screens of blank white in my iPad.

Old format was very consistent new seems flakey I posted a couple pics this morning and one turned into a emoji (I changed it back) I'm having same issues with top of page as Hank

Now that second picture is of MB65E's interior and not the one I attached. Sorry administration IMHO the new format sucks dog doo. I also think it's been hacked. Also sometimes when you look at the for sale posts and then go to another thread you get the same pictures on every post

Can we just go back to the old format?

Every change recently just makes me mad and in my opinion makes the site worse.

PLEASE STOP FIXING IT!

It wasn't broke! Now it is broke!

It is almost unusable on my IPad. I just want the regular  web page on the IPad, but it always gives me the mobile version, which I hate, and it is broken!

I'm not a fan of the last couple changes either.  I've noticed this with many other forums/websites over the last couple years.  There seems to be a (bad) trend to increase "whitespace" or some other design-speak that really deters from usability in favor of some artsy-fartsy designer's opinion of how things should look. It results in far less content visible at any given time, and lots of extra scrolling/digging.  The technical issues screwing up Tapatalk are another big nuisance as well.  I'd vote to change it back to the 2014 format and leave it be.

For an administrator:

If I block cookies on my iPad, the screen looks "normal".  If I allow cookies, the top banner is mostly covered by the Browse/Activities/Pages bar.

I think this is at least part of the most recent complaints voiced here recently.

OK, I'm putting my money where my mouth is!

I will donate $50 if you put the old version up!

I can put the old version up if you don't mind losing all of the content we have so far.  There is no option at all to roll back this new version to an older version.

Likely this website will shut down in the next 90 days as we are running out of funds to support it.

Donation made Craig.

C'mon guys - let's work WITH Craig to get these issues resolved. The new version does have some nice features - along with some bugs.

Craig - what can the user community do to help troubleshoot these issues?

Hi Craig, thanks for all your efforts. Please don't get discouraged.

90 days sounds scary to me.

I'm in for another donation!

I wish there were more I could do other than report bugs to IPBoard.  The forum software we use is not something I have control over - it is a canned package.  They do update it rather often but it seems that unfortunately this new 4.0 version made more problems than it fixed.

Maybe it was temporary.  It looks like it's back to "normal" now.

Not really still have issues first I thought it was just my computer.

Craig,

I will send another donation if you will post the place to send them again. I would suggest you post a note in the General Mooney forum, as I suspect most subscribers read that one. Please don't put up the permanent space eating banner on top.
