Going to give the new SXAR1 XM Weather for the IPad a try thanks to multiple gift cards to Sporty's from family and my work family (staff). Sporty's and Spruce gift cards. They know the way to a Mooney guy's heart.

Got the ResQLink PLB to replace my old Spot. Got tired of the annual fee to Spot, especially since they jacked up the price to $150 this year.

Did that last January!! My Spot died and to buy and new one plus the annual fee, I decided to go with ResQLink PLB as well.  Good choice.

I still have a 121.5 beacon, so the PLB ELT is important.  I'll probably keep it even after I finically update the aircraft ELT.

my wife gave me a "look" and said dont forget you own a plane.

Mine gave me a smile and said "We own a plane." :)

I finally got my G5 installed, a nice calibrated torque wrench from Tekton to replace the "El cheapo" HF special, and a set of 47 floor bins to organize and store parts for the plane in the hangar. I definitely got more than I deserve this year.

You're two weeks before me, Andrew. In between, I will knock out my owner-assisted annual and evaluate replacing the nose tire.

Thanks, Andrew. My wheel bushings looked good last annual, but I've replaced at least two of them under my tenure.
