Detail request...?  HP, Torque, GW, 0-60...  The usual...

Did you get the SC with that?

Marauder is really going to want to get one if you tell the story correctly.

Best regards,

3300lbs 455hp 460 torque

Mine has a dealer installed spoiler, the performance data recorder and the 8 speed automatic.

I am still learning about the car.  I got it because my 2013 had an engine noise and they had to replace the heads under power train warranty at 28k miles and I just didn't want it anymore.  Also had a steering issue fixed that I think wasn't done right.

While the top speed of the Vette and the Mooney are about the same, I can run the Mooney at top speed all day long without government intervention. You can't say that about the Vette.

The few opportunities that I have had to drive Corvettes and other high power cars just left me frustrated. It is painful to drive the speed limit in them. So I have a Toyota pickup that I dutifully drive the speed limit.

BTW, I'm not a total wuss I do have a 180 MPH motorcycle that I let run once in a while. Matter of fact I think I'm going to ride it right now...

You failed to mention that you sold your Mooney to buy the vette.

Yes it was a confidence.  I wouldn't have bought this Vette if the 2013 didn't have issues which made me think I needed a new car.  I had a steering noise in October and they replaced the rack.  After a while I got two other noises and when I took it in they  needed to pull the heads.  That freaked me out.  It's still under power train but out of bumper to bumper so I decided to trade it in.  I got a great deal but wouldn't have sold it for at least two more years.  It only had 29k on it.

I think I would have bought another brand at that point You lose the rather large depreciation of the 2.5 year old car only to get into another one which will have huge depreciation, as well as the high likliehood of similar kinds of problems.

I have never had it much above 140, it Wes still chomping at the bit. It seems like most people on the web say they have a hard time getting them above 160. Mine was modified by the previous owner it has headers and a Power Commander for the FI system. He said it would go 180. I will never know for sure.

Cant really tell from such a small picture but CBR1100XX ? if so then 186mph is legit but then I could pick a picture of anything from Google and attach it. I figure this thread has very little to do with Mooney's  or aviation other than the fact that Ryan sold his Mooney so he could sit in traffic in a very nice ride so its OK to post whatever nonsense comes to mind.  Here is a pic of me wearing my Valentino Rossi Costume

It is indeed a pic from the web. I don't have any pics of the actual bike on my work computer or ipad. but it looks just like that. except for the exhaust and an oversized windshield. It is a Yamaha FJR1300 2005.

That is a Yamaha FJR. A very well respected sport touring bike. It engine is a repurposed superbike motor that can go like stink if you twist the throttle enough. Nice bike Turbo!!!!

what a coincidence Bonal. I also took the same picture in the exact same costume!
