It is possible that it was 2 instruction flights.  A lot of energy between instructor and student in both planes?

Still hard to understand with 4 sets of eyes between both planes.  Glad they were on the ground!

Surprised it doesn't happen more often.

Several reports of  heavy iron clipping wings on the ground near ramp space.

Obviously one pilot was head down working on map page of ForeFlight while other, student pilot, was chewing gum and turning his cell phone off to avoid distractions while in flight.

At least they walked away safely, now just waiting for the barrage of paperwork.

Distractions never seem to end.

I wonder if it was a case of two very polite guys ,,,   saying...

after you,

oh no after you sir,

I insist sir  after you,

over and over,, inching forward, and over again, inching,,,,   Until,,,

two stupids either wedge each other into the same doorway,,,   or,,,

Waiter,,, we are gonna need two propellers   and   two engines!

Even at idle,,,   those are serious prop strikes!!

wouldnt be surprised to find a broken crank shaft..

Nightmares only!

You will need a VERY wide angle lens for that panoramic picture, and please don't post it here.

I won't post it here. Send me your email and I will send it directly to you. I know how much you hate to share. :)

I've gotten some complicated taxing instructions there, there is a MSC there, they don't want you landing on the main runway, so instead of a simple 1 taxiway to main runway, you get a 5 taxiway route, lots of traffic, 2 tower frequencys but only 1 ground frequency

Could have been ground controller giving wrong instructions to one of the A/C.   Happend to me at RDU.  After the controller (female) chastized me for not following instructions when I came nose to nose with another a/c on the taxiway, another pilot came on the frequency and simply said "He did what you told him".   QUIET for 30-40 seconds. Then I did a quick 180 and resolved the conflict.

Nothing unusual at our airport. Our FBO can even do it with the planes in the hangar!

Chastised? I would've expected the other pilot to have said "wasn't I married to you once?"
