201er Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 NJMP would like to invite you to our next lunch fly in this Sunday Jan 11th at Frederick KFDK at noon. We have a reservation for a private room and plenty of room so just come on by! Folks who can't make it, please send cash donations to Brett so that he could afford to fly his twin down to meet us as well!
carusoam Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 Byron and I are planning on Sunday! Best regards, -a-
MooneyBob Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 I hope I will finally make it this time.
Marauder Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 Byron and I are planning on Sunday! Best regards, -a- Byron who? I'll be there as long as ATC doesn't put me into 4 hour holding pattern waiting for a slow J model from Linden New Jersey to finish the approach. Mike - I got to meet your brother. Nice guy, but since no parrot poop on his shoulder, wouldn't have known he is your brother unless someone told me.
Hank Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 Enjoy the ride, Anthony! Yours, his'n, or that fine new airport car?
Alan Fox Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 Mommy , can I come too?????? I can bring my Bronanza!!!
Marauder Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 Mommy , can I come too?????? I can bring my Bronanza!!! Thanks for the warning!

John Pleisse Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 I may be in. I was going to meet up with Alan and go to Repuiblic looking for salvage planes, but I'll call Alan and just plan on seeing you guys.
Seth Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Great seeing everyone today! Thank you Mike for setting this up and thank you George for the AOPA tour. What was the total number of people that came today? 15? 16? -Seth
John Pleisse Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Mucho thanks....nice seeing everyone.
Marauder Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Since I own and fly the fastest old Mooney on the site, thought I would share the first pictures of the fly-in. Quite a large group attending. Here is a picture of George Perry giving us a tour of the AOPA headquarters. George is not trying to convince us to renew our memberships, honest! Thanks for the hospitality George! You will notice in this picture Alan looking around for used airplane parts. BTW Alan, I had you on ADS-B as you crossed north of Baltimore. Never did catch me did you
Marauder Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Great seeing everyone today! Thank you Mike for setting this up and thank you George for the AOPA tour. What was the total number of people that came today? 15? 16? -Seth It was quite a large group especially since it was pretty cold. It was nice having eating lunch with Seth Myers (hope I spelled that right). I can't remember how the famous one spells his name
Marauder Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Mucho thanks....nice seeing everyone. John - great to finally putting a face with the name. Nice meeting you in person! Now fly that Bonanza over to N57 sometime! 1
jetdriven Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Great to meet you guys. John, I'd like to have a look at that classic Bonanza next time. Take care all.
GeorgePerry Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Great meeting / seeing everyone today. It was a lot of fun for sure! Here's the pic we took in front of the AOPA HQ. I hope to see everyone again really soon!
bonal Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Looks like you-all had a good time did not get to fly this weekend... I'm jealous
Hank Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Good video, Mike. Makes me miss my former weekly breakfast runs, but there's few places to go here, and no one to go with yet. Glad to see Anthony made it there! Was that Bret's Baron on the ramp in front of you? 1
bnicolette Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 I so wish I could've stuck around and talked with you all. Family obligations beckoned though. Mike how long does it take for you to preheat? A cowl wrap would help you quite a bit I bet.
