Checking the progs, it looks like I will need to leave NE MD on Wednesday and head west then south due to weather.

I am looking for recommendations for somewhere to stop overnight in Missouri or Arkansas.  Looking for nice place, good fuel price, prefer a courtesy car and  nearby hotel (prefer Marriott properties).

I may just go all the way to Longview and arrive Wednesday.

I can recommend:

KFYG in Missouri, but that may be a bit far out of your way.

KROG in Arkansas. They have a nice FBO and courtesy cars.

KJBR in Arkansas. Very nice FBO and courtesy cars. Was there 2 weeks ago.

KLIT in Arkansas. Gives good access to amenities.

Thanks.  It seems two votes for Rogers.

AAAAH, FBO is subsidiary of Walmart and 8 miles from corporate HQ. :D

$6.15 for full serve fuel.  Nice.

Yes, the FBO is ran by WalMart. The restaurant was closed during the pandemic. They have 2 very nice Toyota crew cars.

I’m in your neighborhood we plan on flying straight through. Considering a fuel stop at Muscle Shoals KMSL, my wife’s not feeling well so I’m 50/50 on going. Last year was very good, speaking to Jan this year is packed with a great program. Tomorrow’s weather looks ok, Thursday looks good once past Nashville rather suspect first couple hundred miles until past mountains

Looking at the progs, I am going west, then south.  AL is in the heart of there may be convective activity.

Thinking our area west to Indianapolis then turn to Longview.  Option to further north and west if needed.  I have Monroy tanks, so can make it non-stop, which is what I think I will do.

UPDATE Can't change my arrival to tomorrow in Longview.  They are overbooked.  So I will stop in Rogers AK (which will add a state to my sig graphic) as recommended be a couple of people.   Hotel is EXPENSIVE there.

Hey from Sweet Home Alabama! Home is pretty much under that big red "L"!

Today was beautiful until I got home from work. The rain is blanking out the DirecTV, and reducing visibility out the back to ~1/2 mile at times..

It sounds like part of the hotel issue was a wide spread power outage, so people should be checking out.   But I already booked my room in Rogers AR and can't cancel without paying.  So I will make the stop.

To help explain, there were many local power outages over a really large area.  This means that the local outages are being corrected one by one, gradually putting more people back in their homes everyday.  We came home Monday, but some are still without power.

Just arrived at KGGG and still no rooms at Hilton Garden Inn for tonight.
Turbo doesn’t care about a room, he just wanted to be done with the trip.

La Quinta is pet friendly.  I'll be staying at the Best Western in town and I think they are pet friendly, too (maybe a small charge).

Thanks @Parker_Woodruff. Found a room at Comfort Suites .5 miles away. Looking forward to meeting you.
