How does that work?

He is treated like an airline flight. They go through the TSA security screening. From what Dan has said, they are a bit more thorough (like opening up luggage for visual inspection). I think he also said they can be cleared into KILG on a return flight if they clear TSA at other airports like KABE OR Dulles.

Is this when my water bottle is taken away from me because it's dangerous? What about the knife / knives that are always in my Mooney?

Correct. Pain going through TSA to leave my wife was ticked off when they rummaged through her personal clothing plus it took 45/60 minutes to do, coming home as Chris stated you go through Dulles or Allentown I’ve done Allentown before easy peasy 10 minutes they only ran the no fly list then off to Wilmington I stayed in Texas an extra day so I wouldn’t have to do the TSA. Gotta love our Mooney’s nonstop in my Bravo about six hours. My hanger next door neighbor has a Cirrus and was totally impressed we made in nonstop in the Mooney  A true traveling machine.
