What started out as a small cookout at the airport has turned into an annual event so mark May 26th on your calendar and plan on joining us in Quakertown again this year!

we like to keep it simple so we will have the cookout basics and ask everyone bring something to share. as we get closer to the date I will give updates and if you know you are bringing a specific dish you can reply here to let others know what you are bringing.

we are looking forward to seeing everyone and their families.

I’d love to finally make it back however I’ll be at my in laws for the weekend.  We are driving there.  I had thought of suggesting for my wife to drive, I’d fly, and this I could fly out for the BBQ, but that’s not going to happen this trip.

Maybe next year!  By then my daughter (turns three in June) will be able to join me on these trips!  We’ll wait a bit more for my son (just turned one).

Brian - current weather shows T-Storms in the forecast. Especially for the afternoon. Will make the call in the morning depending on the updated forecast.

Will be bringing potato and macaroni salads.

Brian -- any chance we can move this up a couple of hours? It looks like by early afternoon we will be dealing with storms in the area.

I would be willing to come earlier as well according to the forecast.  Of course the radar in the morning will tell the rest of the story.  If you move it to 10 or 11 am, and it is not raining at that time, we will bring chocolate chip brownies ;)

Wish I could come up and join you, Brian, but between thunderstorms forecast down here from Tomorrow until Tuesday or Wedensday, and a newly-developed ASI issue, looks like i'm grounded this weekend.

Brian has confirmed an earlier start time of 10 AM.

Which, unfortunately, still leaves me with an unreliable ASI until the shop can take a closer look at it. I will have to catch the next one.

I was planning on sneaking in on you guys with my "other plane", the one I flew back from paint and interior completion on Wednesday (pictures yet to be posted).  I don't like your weather (and mine, frankly later in the day), so heading to a small airport event down state where I can be back by 11 AM.

I was thinking about you guys though!!

Tom
