Chemical Engineer -

What I enjoy: Polymer Processing, extrusion.

What pays the bills: Pharmaceutical machinery and facilities.

I began flying in hopes to better meet with customers east of the Miss.

Best regards,

Wow, a lot of electrical engineers in this room.  Maybe there should be a EE thread to solve convolution integrals and root-locus problems.

Haha - just in case ATC asks.

I am a Soil Physicist, working for USDA when CONUS and when OCONUS, I am assigned to the State Department. I was a college professor previous to my Federal Service, and before that, I was a dairy farmer in Hood River Oregon.

Soil physics is the study of water flow from soil, through plants, into the atmosphere. Thus the study of systems and not individual components.

I fly a 1977 Mooney J.

Wheat farmer from Kansas, I did read your (tree farming) article in Progressive Farmer and found it interesting.

Where do you live?  I'm in Wichita, but only know about wheat that is used to make my favorite beers!   :P

Other- Business owner. I rent equipment for film and video production. I have also been a lighting director/gaffer for the last 19 years or so. However, I am in the process of selling my business and moving on to... who knows? Maybe tree farming! Time to mix it up. I would love to work in aviation, but I really can't see a way for me to make any money doing that.

Lucky enough to be an aviation insurance adjuster. Part time I flight instruct: CFII MEI, COMM SINGLE & MULTI. I also founded one of only a few flight schools that have a Mooney M20K available for instruction and rent.

And where, pray tell, are you based???
