Sending the cylinders out to have them overhauled thought it would be a good idea to have the prop checked as well. It’s been on the airplane for 14 years, not having any issues with it but while the plane is down . I’m in the Indianapolis Indiana area. Is there a good place in the Midwest to send it to? it is a Macauley 2  blade.

Not sure exactly where @Cody Stallings shop is but it’s that way and he’s a straight shooter.  If it ain’t leaking, there’s a school of thought that say leave it be…

Common advice is to have the prop IRAN'd NOT Overhauled.

With an overhaul, they are required to reprofile the blades by grinding, which can make them no meet spec, leading to new blades or a new prop.
