201er Posted July 5, 2017 Report Posted July 5, 2017 Alan Fox, the Grim Reaper of Mooneyspace, strikes again. This time, the kiss of death has his sickle (gas saw) pointed at a 1983 M20J with 300 hours TT on it. No, it's not MY plane but has an eerily similar paint job. Who wants part or whole of an '83 J? Alan Fox Posted July 6, 2017 Report Posted July 6, 2017 Its not dead yet , No logs.... Monroy tanks , KFC200 autopilot flight director, Electric trim , Leather interior , Articulating pilots seat , I will wash it tomorrow , I threw 70 gallons in today , if it doesn't leak , I might just save it..... carqwik Posted July 6, 2017 Report Posted July 6, 2017 Are the economics such that this plane is worth more in parts than as a whole plane? Quote

Those seats alone almost make the plane worth rebuilding! Leather articulating seats, oh my! Quote

steingar Posted July 6, 2017 Report Posted July 6, 2017 Some friends of mine had a working 310 a few years back. it was ugly, but airworthy. They couldn't sell it and wound up scrapping it. i think they got $24K, with two engines and a 430 in the panel. Quote
MB65E Posted July 6, 2017 Report Posted July 6, 2017 Damn-They should scrap the guy who lost the logs!!! Im sure some one would buy it with out logs. -Matt 1 Quote
