Put a "Go Navy" sun screen up in your windshield. It would probably be washed, waxed and polished when you get back:)

Put "Go Army" on the sun screen and come back to find a mule tied to the prop.

That sounds kinda nice.  Fly to Annapolis.  Go to the gift shop and buy a $25 window shade.  Wait 24 hours and fly home with a beautiful new paint job. Good deal!

Not as sweet as the red, white and blue of the Thunderbirds. IIRC someone did just that on a Mooney about 15 years ago. Trust it wasn't our recent troll ;)

I have to agree, the Tbirds have a great paint scheme. But having recently seen both groups perform, it confirmed my prior memories:  the Blues are more accurate. The AF loops were oval [tall and thin] vs. round, and when crossing formations were done, timing was visibly off for at least one aircraft. Zoom! three planes cross, here comes #4 a half second behind.

Honestly, though, the worst of them is far better and more precise than I will ever be. The Navy could take some lessons in exciting paint jobs, too.

As for shenanigans on the ground, do you reckon that anyone in the FBO realized that you came down from near USMA, Erik? Just a little good natured rivalry?
