Looking around at members listing today I come across a search filter with one option of Stars!

Curious I choose 4 Stars! A handful of members show up.

My question is what these Stars represent & how are they obtained?

Also if someone could answer why there are notations of member, advanced member, won't leave, above the photos.  How/why are these notations determined?

Never seen the stars, but the words are related to your post count. As you post more, it changes from Newbie to Junior to Member to Advanced, etc.

Does not appear to be connected to # of posts, nor amount of profile information provided....

Now to figure it means???

This is from other users rating one another.  You earn reputation when people rate your profile or "like" your posts and other contributions.

More stars indicates that you do not have to work and can spend a lot of time on mooneyspace.

I don't know Don some of the members have hundreds of Likes....uhhhh like You and You have No Stars... there are several like you who have personally make MS a great resource and helped me out tremendously that have NO Stars.... Go figure!

Just shows how slow I am. I had never noticed. So I looked at mine and a saw 5 stars. That's good, I thought. Now I see that mine are a blue color. I assume they turn yellow/gold, as you move up in stature. Darn, I guess I need to do something.

When u figure out what that is or we pry it out of Hank or someone else that knows the secret I suppose we will be relegated to being those without Stars...

PS I have 2 Stars and have not contributed a fraction of some pilots like U! No idea how I obtained them I certainly don't think I earned them!

could be the same as a chocolate "star" fish
