Greetings all -

I need a copy of the electrical schematics for my O2. I have the pdf of the service manual and on the last page it refers to the schematics and to the fact that they are included in pouches in the book.

(@carusoam - I did search MS for references to these and where to get them, and there are a lot of postings - but none apply to this particular problem. :D )   My AP/IA has a copy of them for the J, but not for any of the later models.

Have any of you Ovation drivers out there solved this one? Do some of the MSC's have copies, or are  they in the same boat?

Specifically, I am looking for 800383 (R5).

Thank you in advance for any help/suggestions - all the best -

Cheers - Bob

@FlyingScot, there is no Revision 5 presently.  You're in the right area, but it does not exist.

What is your S/N?  And what is the problem you're trying to solve?

Steve

Thanks Steve. 29-0248 - I am having a lot of panel work done in the next couple of weeks and the Avionics Shop asked if I had a copy of the Schematics - and that started the hunt - any help would be appreciated! Cheers - Bob

@StevenL757 Steve - Thank you! This is obviously a newer version of the manual than I have - do you have any suggestions on how one comes about getting a copy (and the right schematic)? You have been very helpful - Thank you - Bob

I have a 1995 M20R SN 29-0065 and my engine instrument breaker keeps popping. I do not have a electrical schematic so can you help me with a fix or how to get a schematic for this problem.

Welcome aboard Chauncey!

Some good news…

The Mooney Factory is open for business….

They have electronic copies of all the manuals…

The usual route is to contact your favorite MSC…

The wiring diagrams are in the service manual…

Ovations have pretty extensive wiring diagrams…

O1s are the most simple of the lot….

What engine gauges go inop when the breaker is pulled?

MP, RPM, EGT?

There isn’t much to hunt down for these… sensor, wire, display, power…

There were many Mooney manuals posted on line at a Midwest MSC…. I’m not sure if their website is still alive…

PP thoughts only, not a mechanic…

Best regards,

Hey Guys,

Trying to troubleshoot a master switch issue (switch wont turn off load). I'm looking for 800304 R7. The switch does actuate relays because I can hear it do so but prefer not to spend hours when a schematic can save alot of time. I have a downloaded service manual but mostly see annunciator fuel sensing and a few other (no main ship power distribution/control).

Thank you.

You can get the service manual including the schematics in pdf form from Mooney. I got mine directly from Frank Crawford, but I'm not sure if he can still supply them or if you have to go through a MSC.

The relay that controls the battery circuit is near the battery in the tail. Easy to check it's functioning with a voltmeter.

I just uploaded the M20R Service and Maintenance Manual P/N MAN161 Revision B: May 2014 into the "Downloads" section (1,175 pages complete).  It is filed under "Airframe Manuals".  Go to page 651.
