That method looks like a sure way to over stress the seat back.

I tried it this weekend, it's pretty easy to get out. The hard part is sliding the right seat forward after the passenger gets out of it, leaving it all the way back. Haven't tried sliding the fully-forward seat all the way back yet . . .

I put almost no weight on my arm the seat back really just helps with balance all my weight is on my legs B26 I'm sorry this did not work I wonder if the quadrant makes it harder. Any way my video is not edited and in real time all the proof I need because the only person it has to work for is me. Seats do have to be all the the way fore and aft I have forgotten to do that occasionally and makes it a bit more difficult. Believe me I'm not the most limber guy in the conga line.

The obvious answer is to lose weight. I get that. But if I had that whole thing figured out I can assure you I wouldn't be this size. So, yes, that will be the plan, but I need to figure out if it will work as we presently are as well. If so, then weight loss would be a bonus in many ways.

I need a hand guys! Let me know your experience in this area and thoughts...

Where do you live? I own a m20k 231 with the rocket conversion. I am 6ft tall and 220. Length wise the mooney will be comfortable. Width is where you will notice the difference especially from a 172. Weight and Balance in the rocket is amazing.
