Someone had used your post to advertise their sheepskin seats covers. After @Pinecone called them out they deleted the ad.

So I looked in the search but didn't find anything.  Is there a company I can buy a precut front seat cover for a 2001 Ovation?

As noted above, Airtex is probably the most reliable way to go, but they won’t match your existing seats.

An idea to consider would be sheepskin covers, if you bought 2 then at least your front seats would match.  A lot of people really like them.

I can't help myself but to weigh in on this...

Personally, I think sheepskins are butt ugly, however I acknowledge beauty is in the eye of the purchaser:D

Further, I get it that sheepskins are more comfortable; the whole winter/summer thing.  But, if that's your thing why in the world spend multiple AMUs redoing the seats in leather, or whatever, and then COVER them with sheepskins???  Just use the sheepskins to cover the worn out old seats and save the money!

Growing up I had an aunt and uncle that bought new carpet and couches for their home...then put down those ugly plastic carpet runners that got filthy and turned yellow to 'protect' the carpet, and put ugly slip covers on the couches to keep them 'like new'.  Good grief!  If you are going to spend the money to make something look nice then just enjoy it and accept the fact it will wear out with use!

So, does this mean that plastic lamp shade covers are out too?

If you want a really nice look, you can have an upholstery shop make the upholstery with sheepskin inserts and the rest leather and just replace the existing covers.
