Mooney M20J Annual

Looking for good Mooney shop to do annual inspection. My M20J 5766Y is based on Hilton Head SC.

Freedom Aviation in Lynchburg VA comes to mind, MSC, Jason has done excellent work on my avionics.

Byron aka JetDriven is a great mechanic and M20J owner and… commercial pilot.

When you see his plane, or read some of his posts… it makes an easy decision… 

Byron helped me transition back into flying my M20R, a lot of years ago…

Since we’re talking Mooney time, AGL@KMRN IS 225 kmiles 

Weber at KLNS is 525–DMAX @KGGG is 720 and RMN@ KGAI is 450.

All a nice flight to quality  honest centers in Mooney, that’s why we fly MooneyAir

I just had an annual on my Ovation in December at Precision Air in Manning, SC not far from you. It is an Mooney Service Center and a Part 145 repair station. I was very pleased with the service and price. Freddie Hilton is the manager.

Yes, Joey Cole is a great mechanic and runs a great shop. I had my annuals there when I lived on the east coast. He’s a good honest mechanic and does great work.

Haven't had an annual there, but he has done a great job for me on other things (nose gear repair, rigging, etc.).

Joe Cole is an excellent choice if you can get in. He is usually booked well in advance.
