Releew
Any recommendations on getting a KX 155 serviced. I think its the display but don't know for sure. Looks like $2,250 is the going rate to change the display. I'm in the Southeast and looking for the closest most reputable service center. Thanks Rick

steingar
Mine is missing digits. I'm going to yank it out of the panel and se if I can get the display off, I bet I can. If so I'm going to clean jp the contacts, as that's it's main problem. Before the digits went you could bring them back by tapping on the glass. tim417
I used Bevan Aviation to repair my KX155. They are top notch.
shawnd
For what it’s worth, I had the gas lens on my KX165 switched out with LED ones for about the same price by MidContinent in CA and had a 3-day turnaround time. They painted the raised surface and it looks brand new! https://www.mcico.com/
amillet
My KX165 #2 nav/com usually requires several pushes of the swap button to swap frequency from standby. Is this a common problem? Cost to fix?
shawnd
Hmm haven't had that happen to me, but you can get a estimate over the phone with the MidContinent folks. Contact the California folks at Van Nuys.
