I have talked to three different Mooney shirts, randomly met in town between Dec. and now, and asked each as to when the "press release" will happen. One immediately said "January." That happened before Christmas. One other was right after new years. She was more coy, but after a little talking, she let off with "first of the year". The last one, yesterday, was also coy, but he smiled and said "soon."

I will take it all with a grain of salt and will believe it when I see it.

Don't hammer me please. Just passing along what I have heard.

I do know, if I win tomorrow, I'm going to buy the first five off the assembly line, donate four to different aviation colleges, and fly the heck out of the other.

wasn't there an announcement about the first flight of the M10-T trainer just before the end of the year? Does that count?

other than that, Dave, I'd lay off a little.

So say I get a wild hare and want to fly over to Kerrville one day.   Can I tour the factory?   Would they let me do a couple of rivets?   How about stitch a couple of seats up?  That would be fun

You'll never get by the guy at the guard gate. He's very congenial but he's also the gatekeeper and takes it seriously!

Remember, the FAA has to have security on our aircraft manufacturing and repair shops. Any "repair stations" are now required to have an identification process for all visitors and customers to be on the premises.  Total BS

Well, I ordered a part from Mooney around thanksgiving. The other day they said" we are not back from the holidays yet." We are approaching two months now."

So, don't get your hopes up about an announcement, They probably will say "When we get back from the holidays"!
