For anyone in the mid atlantic area....even further if you like to travel, several of us have discussed having a picnic get together at KUKT. the Seth requested we do it in May and I have no issues with that, the only weekend I am not available will be the weekend of the 23rd (memorial day weekend) I will be celebrating my anniversary on tangiers island that weekend.   anybody interested please respond and we can get a consensus of what day will work the best .

BTW my choice for May would be the 10th

Sounds like a great idea. I'm in for an annual at the beginning of May and will be going to NY for turkey season over some of the remaining weekends in May. Send out some suggested dates.

It's scheduled to get washed and waxed. Looking for a warm day. Best regards, -a-
Do you schedule that with yourself? :) I have been out a bit and mine needs to be washed as well. Maybe we should have a Mooney fly-in/wash-in. I'm itching to try out the California aluminum cleaner MooneyBob got me to buy. Sent using Tapatalk

Chris,

Schedule your annual for the 12th....then go turkey hunting while it is getting worked on.

LOL! Wish I could. I usually fly the Mooney up to New York State for hunting seasons. Gonna need my Mooney. That said, maybe one of the NJMPA's guy can stop by and get me.

I am definitely in and marking my calendar for May 10th. But I am pretty flexible because since I got my J I have no friends or family life. My work is on hold too.

I can do the 10th but it has to be a bit later in the day.  I'm tied up till about noon on the 10th, which means I then have to get to the airport, get in the air, and meet up.  As long as it goes into the afternoon, that would work for me.  You guys can always start earlier and I'll just get there when I get there (and burn gas to go fast on the way!!).  At full speed that's just under 40 minutes takeoff to landing for me in zero wind, so the 10th looks very good.  I'll have the plane gassed up and ready and head right over after my meeting.

Sundays in May work better for me, but the 11th is Mother's day, so I'm sure whoever still has a mom will be spending it with theirs, or their mother in law.  Saturday the 10th is the best Saturday for me in May.

Reason I'm not available most of April is because . . . I'm getting married and will be on my honeymoon.  Thanks for holding off to May.

I'll drop you off on the way home but since I may be getting there late, someone else should pick you up.

Maybe maybe …. I will come if I can.  I have a very confusing spring schedule wise and currently May 10 has me in California (airlines) - but things are changing quickly.  So don't plan around me….but if the stars and moon line up - and this blasted snow melts...

Chris,

Jack or I can pick you up, I figured we could start around noon. In the morning the Quakertown pilots association will be flying young eagles and that will finish around noon. Usually 2-3 airplanes flying.

Hey Chris I'll pick you up if you fill my tanks. :D

Thanks for the offer. But I think it would be cheaper for me to call Chad up and see if hhe could pick me up in the Falcon and have me top it off. :)

BTW -- isn't the plane you bought a hangar queen? i don't think anyone has ever seen it. ;)

Let's see how May shapes up. The plane is going in on the 1st but I am having more panel work done.

Well this sounds like it would be a great opportunity to reacquaint with one another so I'd definitely like to attend. W/E of the 3 rd is out for sure but otherwise looks good.

So Chris, you are providing full tanks of avgas? Can I have mine to the tabs only please?!

It's looking like May 10th is good for most everybody so lets make this the hard date (barring bad weather) and we can start showing up at noon until around 5... later if we are still having fun.

I'm planning on attending; even though Chris won't fill up my tanks.  And we'll get you there one way or the other Chris.

Do I need to wrap my plane in the Mooney banner?
