I have a total of 99 hours and 15 in my new to me Mooney. No wonder I am soo scared up there :) I hope my nerves calm down with more hours. Troy

Only 200:04h total and 63:05h in my M20F... - and guess what! I feel like one with my Green Lady by now!

I flew only 7 different aircraft (and a couple of helicopters in a prior life) before but the first time I entered my airplane (not mine back then) it was like - believe it or not... - it was like coming home.
Whenever I'm up there now, soaring with the bussards, it's like a wellness trip, like an extra big bonus. I never felt like this before and it is definitely not because it's my aircraft, actually it's more the reason why I bought this Mooney as an absolute newbie in any respect.
Scared? Nerves? Gosh... - whenever I need to relax and the weather is okay I'm in my Mooney and the sky...

I've got around 300 total and maybe 150 hrs in the mooney.  I finally started settling in around 100 hrs in the mooney; it coincided with completion of my instrument training.

6000+ hours, mostly P-3 around 600 Mooney.....I have hit the point where I am now dangerous.... so I find myself going back to the basics and reviewing procedures, I have also been flying with others trying to identify bad habits...this came about last year when I had the perfect approach and was feeling great about the flight only to realize (due to a radio cal from a friend on the ground) that even though i did my gumps check list I didn't properly confirm my gear was down. after a go around and correcting the problem I landed uneventfully but it did get me reviewing all my procedures. If i had landed gear up, it would have really sucked because it was my friends F model (I fly it almost as much as I fly my C) and It just had the engine and prop overhaul.

I have only 125 hours total. Diamond DA20, Cessna 172, Piper Warrior, Piper Arrow and finally last weekend my very first solo in my new M20J. I did 11 nice crosswind landings. I've got my PPL in Jun 2013 and I started in February 2013. I am working on my IFR right now.

1100 total. About 950 Mooney.

Troy, when I was about where you are, I asked a more experienced pilot how many hours it took before you felt like you were "on the inside looking out", rather than on the outside looking in. He said, about 250 hours. I think he was about right.

Last time I checked, I have logged around 490,560 hours of which 201,480 are owning my Mooney and if you count cleaning the interior, playing with the avionics, downloading or uploading stuff and actually flying it, I probably have 7,000 hours IN my Mooney. ;)

You professional pilots... Please adjust to only show hours that you actually hand fly.  :D

If I had to do that mine would read more like 400 TT, 100 Mooney. Gotta love the Autopilot!
