Hank Posted Wednesday at 02:07 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 02:07 AM Those are cool, @Mcstealth! By sheer coincidence, I've owned my Mooney Ranger for 18 years now . . . But I've never seen one of these. 1
Mcstealth Posted Wednesday at 02:22 AM Author Report Posted Wednesday at 02:22 AM She also found two of these ashtrays. They do not say a model, or any other identification for that matter, but they are definitely '60's. I will keep one. Would anyone like the other? 1

I think it was called the Mark 21 through 1967, and the Ranger name appeared for 1968 model year. Based onmy serial number 680002, I have the 2nd "Ranger". And who are you calling ugly?! Let me know what I can do to make it worth your while to send one my way. 3

My dad was an engineer for Mooney from 1964 - 1969. He was the lead designer of the retractable step, an associate engineer on the design on the Mustang, ( he was against the roll cage concept and drew up a conventional pressurized tube design but was rejected) and lead AI/AP of the three assembly lines, back when they needed all three lines. We were cleaning out storage and came upon these items. I also found his Embry Riddle tie tack. 6

BDPetersen Posted Friday at 11:18 AM Report Posted Friday at 11:18 AM BOLO. I’ve always wanted to find an “I’ve Got PC” button which we had when PC came out in 1965. It was red, about 21/2” and I wore one like the dork nerd I was while in college.
