My last couple flights it seemed as though it took longer than normal for my gear to go down and lock in place. Is this a sign of a possible gear issue. How long should it take for it to go down and lock. Next couple flights I’m going to time it hopefully I’m not being neurotic.

Have a Mooney knowledgeable technician put the bird on jacks and check out the gear, best guess a Vickers actuator drops the gear in 2 seconds

Got a stopwatch?

I'm guessing that's the 20:1 gears?    Mine takes about twice that long.

I'm not sure if the baseline in this community renders our judgment meaningful in any case. :0) :0) :0)
