Virtually all spray cans are flammable these days.

For the "sake of the environment" the CFC (non-flammable) propellents have been replaced with a butane/propane mix.

The active ingredients in Plexus seem to be naptha and coconut oil.

The active ingredients in Sprayway seem to be ethyl alcohol and glycol.

The active ingredients in Novus 1 seem to be ethyl alcohol and silicone.

The active ingredients in Pledge seem to be silicone and glycerine.

TAP Plastics recommends Brillantize over Novus; they said it has better antistatic properties.

I’ve used Wash Wax All with good results.

I’ve also used BugSlide with good results.

GLAP (windshield and window manufacturer) recommends soap and water.

A lot of things will work.

Soap and water it shall remain then, I guess.

The two types of Pledge are not the same:

Original: https://www.whatsinsidescjohnson.com/ph/en/brands/pledge/Pledge--Aerosol-Lemon
New: https://www.whatsinsidescjohnson.com/us/en/brands/pledge/Pledge-Expert-Care-Aerosol-Lemon

To be fair, the "original" in the ad is not the same as the "original original" either.

Thanks all!

I have no idea why marketing people think changing names of products is a good idea.

Ask the genius who renamed the Acura Legend to 3.5RL {yes, I had to google it, who can remember that???], because "Legend" was better known than "Acura."

Except I don't believe it's the "Same great product" as the original....probably just the 'Same great product" as the "old look" can!

Like "New Coke"? What a classic FAIL that was! At least we now have "Classic Coke," but don't hold out for "Classic Pledge" any time soon.

Simple, I doubt that "beautify it" has any impact with the younger generation of home owner/renters.  Same with the updated graphic to keep up with what they're seeing every day with every other product.  Otherwise I'm guessing there's a lot of "... oh yea, that's what my grandmother used to use."
