GNC 355 interface with ForeFlight?

Does anyone know if the GNC 355 will interface with ForeFlight for transferring flight plans? Garmin lists GarminPilot as being compatible with the 355, but it doesn't list ForeFlight. I talked to a guy a few years ago who said that he could transfer flight plans from ForeFlight to his 355 just fine. 

I'm having some extensive avionics work done in July. And with Garmin's recent advisory to plan on replacing your 430W, I guess now is the time for me.

Yes, I do flight plans in FF and with bluetooth, transfer. If you makes changes in the GNC355, it will alert you in FF and ask if you wish to update.

this is pretty close - for the gnc, you just do Bluetooth and off you go…

Figured I'd ask on here since it's got people that use a gnc355.

I've got a GNC355 in the plane, as well as a GTN650xi. I've got a GTX345 feeding to the 650 and 355 for ADSB in/out.

When I hook up the 355 to ForeFlight (both have the newest software as of this weekend), I can get flight plan transfer but no weather or traffic. The 355 shows weather/traffic just fine, but doesn't show it on FF. I talked to my mechanic and he mentioned it's not the first time he's seen that and suspects it's a FF bug with the newest 355 software.

If I connect FF to the 345, it will show the weather/traffic. If I connect both, the 355 seems to take priority and kill the ownership section of Connext, and not show any weather/traffic. 

So two questions, I guess:

• Does anyone have the same issue on 355 and FF? If not, what versions do you have?
• Anyone have any idea how to tell FF to use the weather/traffic from one source, but ignore it from another (even though both are capable)? I'd like to be able to transfer flight plans, but also still view weather/traffic, even if it takes two devices to do it.

Versions:

• GTX345: ADS-B v 3.41, Main: 2.80
• GNC355: v 3.21
• FF: v 15.6.1

You can get information about the data sources ForeFlight is using from the Device Information page. 

Unlike Garmin support, I have found ForeFlight support to be very responsive and knowledgeable. Try emailing team@foreflight.com.

I didn't see any information about switching sources in the devices info page. I'll get a screenshot tonight maybe.

Do it all the time no flight stream 510 needed.  You may need check your port  setup on your GNC355. If I can't ever find where I save pictures of my configuration  of my GNC355 or next time I am at the airplane with spare time on my hands remember to take pictures. I will posted them.

Sorry, I just realized that I never responded to your post.  Hopefully you have already heard back from FF, but if not...

As of last week (Thurs?) FF said there is a know issue with Traffic not being displayed.  At this point FF does not know when it will be resolved and they are also not sure if fix will come from their end or Garmin's.  But obviously they are working to resolve it quickly.
