I find the lack of formatting ability on this forum quite frustrating. Not sure if it's something I'm doing or not doing but I couldn't arrange pics or format type.
This has been a great plane - my second F model. My first one had no turbo and I found that put me in potentially dangerous situations with all the over-mountain flying I was doing at the time. I no longer commute so I have no reason to fly her like she should be flown. Hopefully I can find her a nice new home!

I love that retro color scheme and was always fond of the stinger tail.
I’ve never seen the rudder trim tab(if that’s what it is). Why would they not put it parallel to air flow?  I would love to find one of these in the project plane price range, I didn’t know only twelve were out there either

Beautiful, love the scorpion stinger and everything else about it. I also think retro paint schemes are due for a comeback. The certified factory planes have been stuck on the “swoopy ribbons” paint themes since 1996, that was almost 30 years ago now yikes

The "swoopy ribbons" '96 you may be referring to must have been repainted at some point.

From 1992 through the end of the 90's they had a very straight striped scheme (picture of '96 Bravo in link below)

What kinda numbers do you see in a typical profile?

Cruises at 8.8gph LOP doing 140-160kt at 12,5 to 14,5 depending on winds aloft.

I recently joined actually and my flight instructor told me inquiring minds wanted to know who ended up with this pretty unique M20F.

@MtnMann helped fly this M20F back to its new home in NM a few weeks ago. Thank you!

Now I'm working on getting the required instruction so I can use it to commute to and from work in South Texas.
