Landing at Tangier Island, VA

Here was a flight in my M20K to a little island in the Chesapeake Bay.  Flight was from KJYO to KTGI.  Great footage under the right wing for the landing with the plane's shadow as I landed.

probably lost a knot or so with the tie down rings in there!  not a tie down knot, and actual knot.

KTGI was a favorite lunch destination when I was based at KPVG (and when I still had a Mooney).  Did you lunch at Hilda Crockett's?

I love flying into Tangier. It is a very nice flight over the bay and then into the island. The runway is also much better than it was some years ago. And then of course the crabs!!! Also very nice video.
