Roof scoop adjustment handle missing

Where can I get a replacement handle

Mine isn't a handle, it's just a knob held on by a set screw. Shouldn't be hard to find a knob that will fit.

Its probably rolling around on the floor. YOu have to be precise to get the set screw to go into the slot. Otherwise its just pinched and will eventually fall off.

Thanks for the replies.  I picked up a couple of knobs at Lowes today but it will be tomorrow before I can see if they fit.  They both have set screws.  BTW, I recently bought the plane and just picked it up  yesterday and flew it home last evening/night.  I didn't see the knob on the floor when I was looking over the plane.

That's what the one in my '70 C looks like, too.

A few days after buying my '75 C, we were flying to Kentucky for a wedding.  I was moving my headset when it felt strange. I looked at my hand and it held a knob.  What the heck?  The vent knob had fallen off directly into my hand.

Same knob in the 67 F.  Speaking of this knob, does anyone else have trouble closing the vent in cruise?  It seems the ram air pressure in the scoop is enough that I have to slow to around 120 mph or less in order to close it.

The knob uses a dog nose set screw. The dog nose goes into a hole bored into the shaft. If you don’t use the correct set screw the knob will slip and fall off.
