LANCECASPER Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 I listed my Ovation with Jimmy Garrison at All American. Call him or me if you have any questions. http://www.controller.com/listings/aircraft/for-sale/1405197/2000-mooney-m20r-ovation3?OHID=1405197 210-643-4161 lancecasper@me,com 2
carusoam Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 Time to consider a trade in if you have had an F for twenty plus years. The JPI and Aspen Instruments may be really familiar already. Good luck with the sale, Lance. She is beautiful. Best regards, -a- 2
rbridges Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 screw the Aspen, I'm digging the air conditioner! great looking plane. 2
Marauder Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 Lance - you changed airplanes more than some people change underwear. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
LANCECASPER Posted December 22, 2015 Author Report Posted December 22, 2015 Who changes underwear? j/k Turning the TLS I bought into a project - only need one Mooney.

I change my underwear whenever my underwear reach TBO. My underwear are rated to 2200hrs. Then I get my underwear overhauled. 3

1964-M20E Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 With AC maybe just maybe I could convince my wife to go for it. Nice plane and it has the Avidyne radios real nice.
kmyfm20s Posted December 23, 2015 Report Posted December 23, 2015 310hp and A/C, life is good! A/C has been a game changer for me since I fly a lot in the hot weather. If you don't fly above 18K you will have equivalent/similar to K performance up high and the advantages of excess hp down low all with the simplicity of a NA engine.
Awful_Charlie Posted December 23, 2015 Report Posted December 23, 2015 Gorgeous aircraft, lovely equipment (although I'd have to add TKS to use it here) Let me have a grovel down the back of the sofa and see what I can pull together.....

(Well at least he has the most interesting sounding propeller in the world. ) (Aslo wouldn't you get them underhauled instead of overhauled?) 2

I seem to remember there was a rather unkind name for another forumite here, we wouldn't want you to become "Crusty Underdungers" or similar! 1
aviatoreb Posted December 25, 2015 Report Posted December 25, 2015 I'm sorry Lance - seems like I hijacked your for sale thread on your beautiful airplane - with my unusually silly post.
Bravoman Posted December 25, 2015 Report Posted December 25, 2015 Lance, not to further divert your thread but I know you bought a TLS. I am pretty new to Mooney having owned a bravo for a couple years and to this day only having flown in one Mooney--mine. Is it fair to characterize the ovation as a normally aspirated Bravo or is that off base?

The 310 hp Ovation feels like it climbs a little better initially but after 7000 or 8000 the TLS (or Bravo) beats it.
ScottZ Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 Lance, How does the KFC225 interface with Aspen? Did you have to install an interface? Does it fly much differently with than with the KI256 driving the a/p?
LANCECASPER Posted February 18, 2016 Author Report Posted February 18, 2016 The previous owner did the install so I'm not sure what interface was used. It flies like it is on rails - very precise - love the GPSS.
Mcoyne34 Posted February 18, 2016 Report Posted February 18, 2016 I check AAA often and I've been eyeing this plane for a while. When I win the lottery tonight you can consider this plane sold.

steingar Posted February 18, 2016 Report Posted February 18, 2016 Gorgeous airplane. Hopefully in my next life, when I'm reincarnated into someone with some money. 1
