Probably a long shot, but this is the issue with the M20J test flight report in it.  Anyone have an old copy they're willing to part with?

I don’t see the article you are referring to in this edition.

I have all the rest when you figure it out.

What do you think it is worth? 1 hour’s fuel for Brice’s T310R?

Sorry.  My MAPA membership was my dad’s before me and goes back to 1982, but our collection of MAPA Logs was lost in Hurricane Michael two years ago.  @MooneyMitchwas a MAPA member before we were and has a lot of Mooney connections.  Maybe he can help you find a copy.

Good luck!

Jim

I too have many, many vintage MAPA LOG's stored in my hangar.  I'd also be happy to search for you.  Just keep us updated on which one [s].

Interesting... well I was going off of this archived version of the flight test reports (which sadly appear to have been removed from the website):

Do you know when the J report was actually published?  @bluehighwayflyer @N201MKTurbo @MooneyMitch

I’ll look through my stock.

It would be nice to scan each of these and put them in the downloads section of Mooneyspace for prospective buyers. Also Mr. Frisolone used to do pre-buy articles on MAPA on what to look for on each model. Those would be nice in the downloads section also.

Unfortunately I do not have MAPA LOG, January 2001.   I have February and lots after and before.

I have LOG’s dating back to 1984!!

While searching I found N98GA from MAPA Convention September 2009.....

....and I found a fun LOG w/article from January 1994, featuring N9148W..... anyone recognize this Mooney ?

This thread got me looking through old MAPA Logs.  It's like reading old Mooneyspace postings.  Same planes, same issues, same answers!

I also have old MOA magazines.  Pretty much the same; different pictures, different authors.

The accident reviews seem to indicate we haven't progressed much.  Running out of gas, VMC into IMC, gear up landings.  Different months, same mishaps.

new owners or pilots, however. Few are repeat offenders
