Peter! I think your Swiss watch replacement has arrived! They wouldn't hold a seminar at Oshkosh if it wasn't real, right?

We expect a pilot's report in August!

Haven't they been saying that for 2 years already?

I think this time it might be different. Unless, their marketing communication director has been tipping the bottle during the creation of the seminar agenda, it really sounds like they have a product.
Again, it could be creative wordsmithing to draw the masses in only to crush them with reality.

I'm not sure he would trade his Rolex for a Casio in any case.

Let's hope so. I was disheartened when my avionics guy said he had it on good authority that it was dead....

Do they really think anybody buys a new product of them after their latest repair announcements?

I just saw on AOPA that they delayed implementing the in house repair requirement, at least for now.

No need to rush...

Oshkosh reliably occurs every year.

1) there will be some fluff...

2) there will be some projects that get announced...

3) there will be plenty of smoke, accompanied by several mirrors...

4) products that are on time get delivered at SNF...

5) products that are troubled, sneak onto the big stage that is Oshkosh...

6) How's that KSN project going?

7) who is Ed King?

Avidyne and Garmin need some competition...

Best regards,

I wonder what company finished it for them.

And we were all wondering what announcement was coming out about the G5. Now we know.

"Newly released Garmin G5 King KI 300"

Hey, if you are going to outsource development to someone, don't go third class.

They just put the description in there to get people to come...   Then, once everyone is in the tent, they will start selling time shares..   ;)

And if you sit through the time share pitch you'll get a 10% off coupon for the next time a piece of your King gear needs to be repaired.

And the 10% coupon is worth $1500 when you see what they are planning to charge.

I don't know....but here are the Chris King products that I still think are the cat's meow.

Great headsets and hubs!

I just hope Ed King didn't rise from his grave. He wouldn't be too happy what happened to his company. Wonder if it is his son?
