Marauder Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 Peter! I think your Swiss watch replacement has arrived! They wouldn't hold a seminar at Oshkosh if it wasn't real, right? We expect a pilot's report in August! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro 2 Quote
KSMooniac Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 Haven't they been saying that for 2 years already?Sent from my LG-US996 using Tapatalk Quote
Marauder Posted June 17, 2017 Author Report Posted June 17, 2017 Haven't they been saying that for 2 years already?Sent from my LG-US996 using Tapatalk I think this time it might be different. Unless, their marketing communication director has been tipping the bottle during the creation of the seminar agenda, it really sounds like they have a product. Again, it could be creative wordsmithing to draw the masses in only to crush them with reality.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro 1 Quote

gsengle Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 Let's hope so. I was disheartened when my avionics guy said he had it on good authority that it was dead....Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Emmet Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 Do they really think anybody buys a new product of them after their latest repair announcements? Quote
jackn Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 Not happy(to say the least about their repair policy), but I'd buy one. Quote
mike_elliott Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 Will they have the symbolic Koolaid for refreshments? Quote
LANCECASPER Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 I wonder what company finished it for them. Quote

LANCECASPER Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 I hate to burst the bubble, but here's what was on the schedule for Friday July 29, 2016 1 Quote
carusoam Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 No need to rush... Oshkosh reliably occurs every year. 1) there will be some fluff... 2) there will be some projects that get announced... 3) there will be plenty of smoke, accompanied by several mirrors... 4) products that are on time get delivered at SNF... 5) products that are troubled, sneak onto the big stage that is Oshkosh... 6) How's that KSN project going? 7) who is Ed King? Avidyne and Garmin need some competition... Best regards, -a- 2 Quote

"Newly released Garmin G5 King KI 300" Hey, if you are going to outsource development to someone, don't go third class. 3 Quote
Browncbr1 Posted June 22, 2017 Report Posted June 22, 2017 They just put the description in there to get people to come... Then, once everyone is in the tent, they will start selling time shares.. 3 Quote

I just hope Ed King didn't rise from his grave. He wouldn't be too happy what happened to his company. Wonder if it is his son? http://www.intelligent-aerospace.com/articles/2012/06/ed-king-obituary.html Quote
Marauder Posted June 23, 2017 Author Report Posted June 23, 2017 I wonder if there is a King IV. King III looks happy making wine: https://www.kingestate.com/people/ed-king-iii Quote

Now I would buy that Ed King's products, and I would buy Chris King's products, but I would not buy King avionics. 2 Quote
