It's looking like a beautiful day to fly from Austin to KECP.  My wife and I plan on arriving some time between 7pm and 9pm, as my wife sets the departure schedule.  I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

Yes the weather should be beautiful there and back.  I’m thinking about going VFR and stay down around 3500 and enjoy the beach views.

I'm not looking at this thread anymore! I get home from work to a broken water pipe and spent the night playing Mr. Plumber while these guys are soaking up warm weather, good company and alcohol.

Well, at least I have the alcohol :)

Summit started last night with a large reception in a condo penthouse with a water view. Mooniacs from all over. And name tags! Sweet. (Actually, there was a well attended session in the afternoon conducted on sealing fuel tanks but we have O&Ns so we went to the beach.)

Mike's looking great and he and Ron and their wives were perfect hosts. Food, drink, recognition, and lots of nice door prizes.

There was a shy couple there from KSLO and OWGs from KERV and KGGG.

We spent time with another a of transplanted Tar Heels (KEDE). "Friends" we had never met. Lots to talk about.

But we're missing some frequent posters here... next year guys, clear your calendars.

Outstanding speakers, great company, spectacular weather... Really a treat! This weekend has been beautifully planned down to every detail, and so many experts on hand... And what camaraderie. I've never been to the Homecoming, but hard to imagine anything better than this Panama City event has been, twice.

Hope to see more Mooniacs @ the AOPA fly in 11/8, KSSI and/or

@ our "Mooneys over the Mountains" fly in @ KMRN 11/15.

I'd officially like to sign up for next year...Mike Elliot and Alice, Dr.Ron and JoAnn all the speakers knocked it out of the park. Thank you to all. This event has bettered our community.

I have a long list of best practices I am implementing that I obtained from this event. Thank you.
