I see nice braided hoses.  So Check fittings if no, then has to be bad seal.  Watched an AP replace the seals on a Cherokee caliper was really simple.

I'll bet it's just pads. If the pads are gone down to the metal, the piston will push out too far and dump fluid. I flew mine to Texas that way as it was on it's way to annual. JD showed me the pads, rivets, and half the backing plates all ground down.

It was all going in the bin anyway and new to me, Ovation double puck brakes going on.

Just to add to what @gsxrpilotsaid. Warn pads won't let the puck out enough to leak, but the cylinders get corroded outside of the o-ring. Once the o-ring gets to the corroded part of the cylinder the fluid leaks out.

It's definitely a "red flag"...except its liquid and not a flag.   :(

Just a red fluid.  Maybe any red fluid on the floor is a bad thing and do not fly.

This is exactly what my mechanic diagnosed. In for repair Monday.

See if you can keep the system from emptying itself....

There may be less air to get out of the system later...

PP thoughts only, not a mechanic...

I’ve got the double puck brakes on mine.  Doesn’t stop any faster.  But sure makes it easy to flat spot tires

Key words... to be looking for... crack propagation....

Looks like the crack may have got its start at a hole... and ran from there...

If cracks are short and small they can be stopped...  check with your mechanic for the details... if and how it can be fixed...

PP thoughts  only, not a mechanic...
