Nstarbf Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 Been grounded for the past few weeks waiting to swap out the Oil Cooler on my 62 C model. My A&P keeps telling me it's on back order. Has anyone heard of a shortage of these things? I have just the standard plane jane from the factory set up for my oil system.
MB65E Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 Send the old one to Wayne at pacific oil cooler in the mean time. His rebuilds are as good as new. They have full manufacturing capability at their shop. -Matt
Two7Victor Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 Just got one from Spruce with no delay. Oil temps still high but the old one was in bad shape so good to replace. Going to look at vernatherm and temp probe next.
