Been grounded for the past few weeks waiting to swap out the Oil Cooler on my 62 C model. My A&P keeps telling me it's on back order. Has anyone heard of a shortage of these things? I have just the standard plane jane from the factory set up for my oil system.

My IA is in the process of getting my new to me C in tip top shape. I'm trying to do all the leg work of ordering parts / overhauls to keep him busy replacing parts. I need some welding work done on my exhaust heat exchanger cover as it has a crack. Planning on calling some exhaust shops Monday but was wondering if the MS members had any recommendations. Also need to have my Stewart Warner oil cooler overhauled. Send it back to the company, now called Meggitt Control Systems? Use another approved source? I'd like quality work for a fair price.
