I think they are testing options to avoid GPS jamming. Mine is to develop a mini missile homing into the jammer. Jammers not only could be on the ground but on a small balloon flying to 20,000 ft to cover a greater area more effectively. Another option is eLORAN. This is a robust system hard to jam but susceptible to towers ground attack. Best one is the INS/GPS combination used by the airlines and the military.

I'm afraid we are doomed my fellow American's. As evidenced by the Jade Helm operation, which placed millions of American's into re-education camps last summer and went house to house confiscating firearms in the states of Texas and New Mexico, now the government is jamming our GPS signals so that we can't go anywhere and have to stay put.

We need Donald Trump more now than ever.

Update on this...due in part to significant feedback from the GA community, the Navy has cancelled these plans for now.  AOPA article here...
