Pritch Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Had a PPI yesterday at Lake Aero Styling and everything was A OK, so I brought it. 1984 M20k, next is 5 hrs duel for insurance and then 5 solo. Original paint that still shines, intercooler, Merlyn and spoiler brakes with King panel. Pritch Where the Redwoods meet the Pacific 11 Quote

DAVIDWH Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Don't forget those noise canceling headsets to block out those annoying squeaks when you land. They help make those landings "Great Again". Quote

bonal Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 So I'm heading back to the office and I stop to pick up a burrito for lunch then I think we'll Lampson is right on the way and I need a quiet place to park and enjoy my meal why not go to the field and see if any planes are flying. I drive out to the fuel rig as it provides a good view of the ramp the runway and the approach while staying clear of any aircraft operations. As I pull up I see a real nice 231 at the pump and I recognize the OP and new owner. So I get out and introduce myself. We visit for a bit and then I help push it back from the pump and resume my lunch activity and watch him depart. Very nice meeting you sir and my compliments on you new 231 Quote

Had my best landing so far when I got back to my home field. Now the learning begins. Pritch 1 Quote
carl Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 you need a bigger tow bar for your hanger. I have the little one in my plane and a big one at the hanger . It makes it so much easier. Its just welded up rod in a Z . but it is about 6 foot long. And I don't see a refrigerator? Nice plane carl Quote
StevenL757 Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 Very exciting Pritch. Congrats, enjoy, and fly safe! Quote
