I kinda like the new format. At first I was devastated, as I was simply told as I tried to log in, that the page could not be displayed. After not getting on for about 24 hours, I emailed a few of my friends.  Amelia clued me in that I may need to remove Mooneyspace from my compatibility view setting on Internet Explorer. I had originally put it on the compatibility list because I was having trouble "quoting" in replies. It is yet to be seen whether I can quote now.

I wonder how many folks are as computer illiterate as me who are still sitting out there wondering why Mooneyspace is down. It's too bad, as one needs to log on to find out how to log on. Thanks for friends like Amelia.

They should be there, mine are. Look for an "Albums" tab toward the upper right after selecting profile.

On the ipad there's album tab. On the iphone I can't find it!

I guess they're not accessible on iphone!

Just when you get used to something, someone thinks changing it will be better. It was fine the way it was.

As they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

No disrespect meant. I appreciate your hard work.

I'm getting used to it some times about half the time when I try to reply to a post it kicks me back out to the header page then when I go back it takes a couple tries to get the cursor to stay and allow me to type. Computer folks love to improve things they don't understand there are those of us that aren't as skilled as they are. Imagine if every time you flew your mooney you had to run an update and after you finally get the darn thing started you had all new V speeds

Change is inevitable...

i used to think I was computer savvy.

Now I am challenged by old databases on a KL90B.

resetting passwords is part of the aging process...

if if you are fortunate, you get old.

:) the editor doesn't like my emojis....

best regards,

I'm not finding album on my Android phone using Tapatalk. I think the admin said some of the feature will take a little while to extend to mobile.

Is it taking some time to get the albums loaded? I can find the albums box, but mine only brings up one photo.

Don,

use the gallery button.

it goes to a few pictures...

the the first two pictures are actually buttons to press to get to the member's gallery and something else...

the newest photos are on that first gallery page.

at least that is how the iPad is doing it today....

:)

I was unable MS on iPhone.

That was before the recent changes...

I'm an old guy at heart, unable complex password strategies among multiple machines.  iPad only now...

I see that the gallery button gets you to buttons which shows (apparently) the last photos posted. But is there any way to go to a particular member's gallery. Eventually, will the ones in my gallery be replaced.

This is a rhetorical question.

Hello - Aviatoreb - Erik Bollt here.

With the system upgrade, I lost my login credential - aviatoreb no longer seems to be accessible by me.  If I ask for a new password it sends me this instead with the identity EMB - a new user.

I like the new format, but I have two questions.  When I click on "new content" to read only what I have not previously viewed, I keep getting some stuff back that I have already seen to the end of the posting queue.   My current example is the thread on  "Why do you need to turn on fuel pump when switching tanks ?" in General Mooney Talk.

The second question is to find the facility that allows a member to modify their signatures on posts.  It used to be somewhere in our profile, but I cannot find it in this new format.

Any assistance available from the development team?  Or others if you have already figured these out?

Ned,

I sometimes experience the missing 'go to first unread part'...

there is a handy new blue line that marks the first unread post when you get there.

i am still missing the post numbers that are helpful for identifying how deep in the thread you are.

best regards,

Go to an internet explorer page; click on "Tools"; select "Compatibility view".  In the pop-up box, list the site you desire (ie. Mooneyspace.com).

However, when I had this listed in mine, Mooneyspace did not call up properly. I had to deselect MS to make it work.

Is there any chance that we can get the original homepage layout back?  It was nice to be able to just open to that and see the latest discussions in all the categories without having to search each forum individually.

I always post from my IPad. Many times when using the reply button it will send me back to the main page, where I have to start again. Many times the curser disappears.  Anyone else having these issues?
