  1. In Mariposa KMPI ca i believe they have an F available.
  2. Before flying, find the old seal and remove it. The old seal can block air going into the fuel injection system. No air, no power…

  4. I had a claim against my business liability. My insurance company paid attorneys to represent them. I ended up hiring an attorney that specializes in insurance law. It was very interesting and prevented my insurance company from putting me under part of the bus…. Glad to retire and end that headache.

  6. Try Johnson propellor outside of Bakersfield Ca. He took my old one. And put a B hub on it. I had good blades that he wanted, this was 7 8 years ago.

  9. Go fly with an instructor. I used that si time to work on my instrument rating. Eventually went basic med. not currently flying anymore.

  12. Look thru the belly pans. This was typical on my f with the 40:1 gears. When I had the 20:1 installed it almost stopped, in fact the first time I flew it, I thought that there was a gear malfunction. Top gun did the gears and rerigged the gear.
  13. My gns 430 can adjust the track slightly offset, could your navigator be doing that. You will need to read the owners manual.
  14. All Mooney’s are m20’s. Mooney’s have gone from wood wings and 150hp. The F is 10 inches longer have bigger back windows, more gas, useful load and 200 hp. The newer the planes get the more modern heavier they got, of course more hp and faster.
  15. I have about 500 hrs. In a 69 F with the same basic panel. Leave the 3 light markers, you won’t gain mulch. Vacuum gauge is usable where it is. Engine gauges, leave them alone, you don’t look at then that often, set the power and leave alone, full throttle above 5,000 and rpm where you want it. Set mixture one moniter on the the engine moniter on the left. keep the $1,500 for future maintenance,
  16. Broke or stuck. I had one turned out to be stuck, electrical contact cleaner fixed the problem, thanks mechanic.
  17. Remember, the insurance company represents themselves first. Tha attorneys that they hire represent the insurance company. They will screw you over. You should hire an attorney whose specialization is insurance law if there is a large claim against you. I did in one case, and the insurance company attorney asked me why? I told her that she is here for the insurance company, not me. She was not happy, her co-counsel just smiled.
  18. Look in the tail cone, wiring may be there, also look at the belly, you may find the correct location. Yes go for the led.

  20. I did flour bombing out of my f, it is very challenging to fly at 100 feet, and fly the plane all by yourself. Made several passes, never felt comfortable. good luck, be safe.

  22. Near Fayetteville AR yesterday a 76 year old pilot was killed in a King Air. He was being handled for an instrument approach. ntsb and faa investing. Was age a factor? Unknown…
  23. Check with your local surgeon at a nearby radio shop.
