AOPA has another quiz to see which movie character pilot you would be. Not enough questions IMO to really get a good idea but I took the quiz and was very pleased with its result.

I am John Wayne in The Flying Leathernecks.

Take the test and post results.

Went to the AOPA site, took the quiz only to find out I'm a driver. Went to the AAA site, and found out I'm a pilot.

Add another vote for John Wayne and Leathernecks.    When I graduated from college with my new PPL I wanted to be a fighter pilot in Vietnam.  They only offered me Navigator so I did not go.  Had a high lottery number.

The only difference between Great Santini and John Wayne is that your #1 plane to fly on the list is the Spitfire (WWII aviation) vs F-18 (modern jet attack/fighter).

Count me in as John Wayne as well. I did choose the Spitfire over the F/A-18, mostly because I thought if I ever really did get in an F/A-18 I would probably throw up all over the place. And there's some part of me that says if Brad Pitt can fly a Spitfire, so can I!
