Dear Mooney Enthusiast,

In spite of a stormy weather forecast for the afternoon, we had 4 Mooneys and 1 Bonanza bring 12 people to lunch at St. Augustine.  Everything at the airport went as it was supposed  to and the restaurant gave us good service and good food.

Our next event will be this Saturday, June 10, at Sebring.

All events start at 11:30.

Future events:

June 10, Sebring (SEF).
July 8, Williston (X60).
August, 12, Fort Pierce (FPR).

Please let me know by Thursday if you are going to try to come so I can give the restaurant an approximate headcount.  If you tell me you are coming, and can’t come do not worry about telling me, just do not come.   I do not want anyone flying for any reason if they shouldn’t.

Hope to see you soon,

Dave and Ruth

Y’all are nuts!

I’m down at CGC this weekend and can’t imagine going anywhere to meet at 11:30, let alone, fly back after noon. I’d be interested in a Seinfeld Boca del Vista breakfast group that would meet at 0530 so you could make it home by 9am.

I can’t believe I lived in this stuff for 30 years.

Dear Mooney Enthusiast,

We had a really bad weather forecast for our last event, lunch at Williston.  As a result, we only had two people show up, and we came in a Tesla.  The conversation was limited as we discussed everything on the drive over.  We did bring chocolate chips for Carol to put in the pancakes, and they were very good.

Our next event will be this Saturday, August 12 at Fort Pierce (FPR).  Current price of 100LL listed on Foreflight at $5.75.

All events start at 11:30.

Future events:

August, 12, Fort Pierce (FPR).

September 9, Winter Haven (GIF).

October 14, Flagler (FIN).

Please let me know by Thursday if you are going to try to come so I can give the restaurant an approximate headcount.  If you tell me you are coming, and can’t come do not worry about telling me, just do not come.   I do not want anyone flying for any reason if they shouldn’t.

FYI, Fort Pierce SS fuel pump is not available due to them starting construction on new hangars, they will be dismantling and moving it. There’s a NOTAM. Other than that, it’s business as usual.
