I got charged .25 of an hour.  So roughly $30.  However my airplane was already in the shop for annual and I brought in all the documentation and told him how to do the check, so that saved him reading the whole AD.

About the same for me during annual.

My shop which is right across the taxiway between our hangars was thorough in investigating and signing it off, but refused to charge me.  It did cost me one the three neodymium magnets I bought since I gave him one so he could do the other planes on the field.  The magnets cost $8 for all three.

The real contributor was Don Maxwell because he had replaced the weights years ago before I bought the plane.  He said mine was probably the first one ever done.  He was going to send a sticker, but I’m sure he was busy and forgot.  It’s okay since he did the real work.
