My EDM 900 came with an 8GB drive.

Wow! Never even knew that a USB interface box existed. Always thought these units allowed direct transfer to a thumb drive.

everything after the 700's had a built-in USB port to download.

It was possible to get the USB port retrofitted to the 700 series EDM decades ago for $200 - no idea what if that's possible today.

Don, I used an 8 GB drive with the unit I sent you. Really, I don’t think it matters much as the memory in the 700 is pretty limited.
