mike_elliott Posted May 10, 2019 Report Posted May 10, 2019 What an excellent opportunity for the right guys to start migrating into the aviation business and quit that high paying job in a call center . I worked with Bruce to install this in my F model a number of years ago and it simply is a great process with excellent results. Some of you are very crafty and this opportunity to do interiors could prove just the ticket to fund your aviation addiction! Quote
Andy95W Posted May 11, 2019 Report Posted May 11, 2019 I'll second it- Bruce is a great guy, has a wealth of Mooney knowledge, has designed an outstanding product, and was a pleasure to work with. I met with him in Willmar where he gave me a condensed, intense course in the Spatial Interior and its installation. After getting the materials, he continued to provide assistance through phone and email. I wouldn't change a thing. 1 Quote
carusoam Posted May 11, 2019 Report Posted May 11, 2019 I know a guy that is really good at Mooney disassembly... he can probably build them pretty well too... Seeing if @Alan Fox has seen this thread... See if @Marauder is around to share a Spatial I pic... Best regards, -a- Quote
Alan Fox Posted May 11, 2019 Report Posted May 11, 2019 I can do it for 84 dollars an hour.... Bring it on... Quote

I notice you're able to squeeze the STEC into the bottom left corner. I compared it to mine and it looks like your 3.125" steam gauges are a lot closer together. I wanted my 2.25" Insight G1 at the bottom left corner and the avionics tech there wasn't enough room for it. Quote
Andy95W Posted May 11, 2019 Report Posted May 11, 2019 That panel was put in about 25 years ago by a previous owner. Back then, the only panels available were from LASAR. They probably still have the kit available even though you can't find it on the website. I suggest just giving them a call and asking about it. Quote
Jaeger Posted May 11, 2019 Author Report Posted May 11, 2019 This is Bruce Jaeger, thanks for the comments. In addition to an individual, any upholstery shop referrals would be appreciated. Quote
sdflysurf Posted May 12, 2019 Report Posted May 12, 2019 I'm interested in putting new side panels in mine. Quote
Jaeger Posted May 12, 2019 Author Report Posted May 12, 2019 Would be great to visit by phone. Send a message to bruce@jaegeraviation.com with contact information and a good time to reach you. Bruce Quote
carusoam Posted May 12, 2019 Report Posted May 12, 2019 Bruce, When able... You can add some contact details in a couple of different ways.... As you can see... Many people add location and airplane details with a pic in the avatar area... Further into the weeds... you can find what is called a signature line, where you can put a bunch more detail. This way people will be able to find you easier... MS is a great home for people that support Mooney Owners and Pilots and mechanics... PP thoughts only, just a long time resident at MS... Best regards, -a- Quote
