You can always take one of each size to your local industrial supply house, and they will sell you two of each. There's the big one on the outside, and you have to take the cap apart to find the little one on the inside.

Speaking of which, it's coming up on annual time, so I'll be watching for the right sizes. Never can remember . . .

The link above is for the fluorosilicone o-rings which some have decided to switch to because they last longer.  They are also significantly more expensive.

The Mooney SB calls for MS29513 o-rings -010 and -338. http://www.mooney.com/en/sb/M20-229A.pdf

These o-rings are available at Aircraft Spruce. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/fuelorings2.php?clickkey=10586

O Rings are not expensive from a Mooney provider.  I buy a set annually from Service Center and they are installed at annual with documentation in logs.  Just order and support your MSC...We are talking <20 bucks with shipping for something that if not done properly...replacement of both seals...can result in water in fuel and quiet engine followed by bent metal and injury or death.  Cocked caps are an equal problem.  Make sure they are on flush and not cocked.  Line people are famous for installing cocked which will require a tool to pry open...There are multiple threads on this.  Hit search.  It is your "friend".  Or be lazy....People on here...like me will always help a brother out.

+1

There are different types of O-rings.  MS29513 are fuel resistant, the "regular" ones aren't.

Search Mooney S/B M20-229A  for those worried about legalities only MS29513 series are approved.

I think the O rings are 12 months or 100 hours which ever comes first. Anyway, my MSC keeps them in stock and keeps them fresh and documented on my Mooney as well.

It's not fuel that breaks down the standard "nitrile" o-rings but is exposure to oxygen and more-so ozone. Fluorocarbon (aka Viton) o-rings are equal to both Nitrile and Fluorosilicone in fuel resistance and are very resistant to O2 and ozone as well. They will have performance similar to Fluorosilicone at a much better price. Also Fluorosilicone is recommended for static applications only, but while the 010 stem o-ring is a dynamic application the movement is small and infrequent so you'd likely be okay there.

I'm not sure these newer compounds were widely available when the specs were written but I can state that either Viton or Fluorosilicone are better materials for the application.

Do you know the ones for the caps on the bladder tanks?

Nope don't have those caps.  At one point I was putting together a parts list for doing an annual.

The CB in me hates the thought of paying premium prices for the blue O-rings an throwing them away after a year. Every Mooney A&P I know reads the AD to say that the O-rings have to be inspected at every annual. So when he inspects them, is he going to re-use them if they look good. More likely he is going to replace them. I keep my plane hangared, and I don't see cracks in the standard O-rings at the end of the year. I know, O-rings, even the fancy ones, don't cost a lot.
