For anyone that is picture candy and are at Oshkosh today, planning is well underway for the mass departure from KMSN and mass arrival at KOSH on today. Our arrival time is supposed to be around 11:00 local. I will if I can post updates here. I have the honour of flying the last group, flying wing with Larry and shall be the last Mooney to land just before the tail aircraft from that group unless there are last minutes changes.

Tens of Mooneys went out yesterday from Madison do formation practice runs. today is the big day.

See you all in Oshkosh.

Can't wait to get there. I'm hanging out at KJEF waiting for the weather south of KOSH to move out through before completing the trip. Worlds slowest moving weather system! :(

Thanks for the pictures Sabremech. I hope you will be able to join the social Monday at 6PM in the caravan tent. For those who wish to come say hi, the Mooneys and the tent are the last few rows on the west end of runway 09/27, on the south side of the field.

When I landed It started pooring rain with bad crosswind and gusts on top of this. Larry and I had our hands full...wasn't then prettyest landing but all went well. We had a debriefing and the general consensus from the guys who have participated in previous caravans years ago is that the way it is done now is very well coordinated and very safe. I agree!

Come say hi.

And by the way, it was 36 Aircrafts, there was a Cirrus.

Here is a picture of Mooney Caravan element Alpha 2, the first Mooney to come out of the recent production restart. Jerry Chen was in that plane, when they landed in KOSH today.

See you tomorrow.....Canadian buddy....glad you made it (and all others) safely!

Pulled the R.V. (Recreational Vehicle) (for the folks that confused it with a RV airplane :) )into 28th St., right off the main drag, in middle of handicap lane, don't ask......it's a 34' coachman Mirada with a BMW motorcycle parked in front.....

If any of you guys are tooling around tomorrow........If I'm not here there's cold beer and waters In the cooler out front for my mooney buddies,......no banana drivers...please..,;)

HAPPY OSHKOSH!!!!!

For those who wish to join the BBQ at the Mooney tent on Tuesday (and have not prepaid) come an hour earlier (around 5PM) I have been told it will be $30 each. For this price, it includes the booze.

If there is any Mooneyspace coming camping today or tomorrow, try to sneak your way to lane #542 and 543. There are a few camping spots available.

This is where all the gang is.
