I will be arriving at Frederick, MD (KFDK) today to visit family for a few days. Mooney N99MS will be on the ramp. Anyone in the area interested in getting together for some casual talk we can meet at the Airways Inn on the field.

I'm about to get off a tour bus for a couple of days in Columbia, MD and was hoping to pay for fuel and lunch if anyone was gonna be flying in that area. Sure would like to get a ride in a Mooney!

it was great meeting you today Tom!  Beautiful airplane you have.  Actually, we were ahed of schedule so we delayed our schedule and stopped to get Indian food to "take out" - 400mis back to small town upstate.  Well....we got there on time and there you were cleaning bugs off your beautiful airplane.

 

And wow - we were all rewarded with an amazing and unusual sight - a blimp doing Touch and Gos!!!  Did you see I was held in place with my engine running for longer than usual....it was the blimp thing that was going on...but usually I would be buggered waiting for several minutes waiting for my clearance - I enjoyed so much the radio chatter...so funny.  Snoopy 2.

Glad I got to meet you this afternoon. You have a great plane! I have never seen a Rocket before. Sorry we couldn't talk longer. I hope you and family had a nice flight home. It is always nice to see a family doing things together.

 

Snoopy was a treat to watch. I was surprised at how agile it was. I took some pictures with my phone of the blimp, got you as the gear was going up. I will send it after I download it from the phone or I can text message it to you if you want to send me your phone number. PM me.
